Charlene Sanelisiwe Ngxoki joined the Fort Hare Foundation on the 1st of November 2022 as an administrative intern. She used this time to immerse herself in the works and programs of the Foundation. Along with tens of candidates, she was part of an intense internal professional development program in which she showed exceptional performance as a trainee administrator. In December 2023, when the University advertised the position of Administrator, she applied and was appointed to the role.
Charlene holds both a Bachelor's and an Honours degree in Commerce, with a major in Business Management, from the University of Fort Hare. Her research focuses on small business and rural economic development.
Her passions include entrepreneurship, event management, project management, stakeholder relations, and finance administration. These interests, combined with her skills, have made her a valuable asset to both the Fort Hare Foundation and the broader Fort Hare community.
